Position: Regional Sales Manager-China Specified Products: Flow Meter/市政水利 Summary: Oversee all sales activities within the region. Develop, train, manage and support sales channels in the region. Perform direct sales activities based on either target accounts or specific markets within designated territories. Activities will include presentations, negotiations, lead generation and follow-up, cold calling, training, quoting, etc. and as needed to ensure growth and success of the region. Job Description: 1. Manage sales activities in China, which may include generating leads, generating sales proposals, negotiating and procuring sales contracts, delivering signed contracts for order entry. 2. Build sales channels in the assigned territory. 3. Responsible for business/client development within the region, either directly or through distributors. This activity will include cold call meetings and developing strategies to meet an individual clients needs. 4. Conceptual sales and closing activities within target accounts and markets. 5. Meet and/or exceed individual revenue threshold. 6. Timely follow-up on leads generated through distributors, corporate and regional efforts. 7. Act as interface between BU and distributors to solve the technical issues and sales problems. 8. Initiate Project kick-off meetings prior to project start-up. 9. Work closely with Operations to determine specific project requirements and assist in contract interpretation and client interface. 10. Support Accusonic & ADS Sales Manager in Sales projects in the region. 11. Regular report on sales activities, schedules and contracts is required. Requirements: 1. 5-10 years sales experience with water diversion, water treatment or sewage departments in municipal industry, thermal and hydropower, preferable in international company; 2. Flow measurement/instrumentation or related background. 3. With knowledge of municipal project procedures 4. Strong back ground in Water diversion market and sewage piping systems. 5. Travel frequently in Domestic area. 6. Good communication skill and good relationship with municipalities in the region. 7. Aggressive in developing market and building sales channels 8. Able to work independently. 9. Can work together with other colleagues a team. 10. Good English skill, writing & reading & speaking. |
