The main roles of the Market Manager will be to: 1.Quantitatively assess main market segments in China/Asia for chemical/industrial pumps with respect to size, growth potential, competition, product requirements, regulatory trends, other barriers to entry 2.Monitor EMCSH’s presence in existing market segments （market share capture, product line sufficiency, brand recognition）, recommend new product developments and where appropriate new market segments for entry 3.Understand key end-user, engineering company and technical licensor process requirements and interactions between projects and proactively recommend projects for Sales to initiate and follow 4.In cooperation with global marketing based in Europe, design an effective marketing strategy for China/Asia including brochure development, trade show participation Requirements: 1.Must be an excellent communicator who is comfortable with coordinating between different functions and geographies 2.At least 5 years’ experience in a commercial marketing function in preferably in the chemical process industries or industrial equipment company selling to process industries； must have had extensive interaction with foreign entities 3.Engineering degree in chemical engineering or related field； MBA would be a plus 4.Chinese native speaker, excellent command of spoken and written English； French would be a plus 5.Knowledgeable about industrial media, able to make high-quality （conference-grade） presentations 6.Travel: about 20% domestic, occasional foreign travel |
