Summary: （1） Job Purpose: Communicate with oversea and domestic factories, Provide effective technical & commercial support to local sales team and customers, Enable successful sales and installations of Xylem treatment products. （2） Goals and Objectives: Several bullet points for setting performance objectives. a） Works directly with sales team to provide application engineering designs, solution determination and quotations for treatment products. b） Presents project specific solutions to clients. Provides quality designs and advice to secure and integrate our products on site plans. c） Develops and maintains professional relationships with clients and customers both internal and external. d） Promote treatment products and systems in the technical seminars with clients hold by Sales team, or technical conference/forum. A） Essential functions and major activities: May occasionally travel to different cities to provide project specific consulting. Provides technical assistance to other team members when called upon. Continuously improves technical expertise and knowledge of Xylem products, competitive products and up/down stream process. Assists sales team to get clear questionnaires for following design and support Assists process orders with factories, work with Contract team, Project Execution team and Engineering team to expedite orders. Coordinates with project eｘecution team to effectively transition projects. Acquires knowledge of competition and market trends and assist market team to create strategies and designs Ensures the understanding and adherence to company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Part 2. Describe the Person A） Minimum professional and educational background desired （include years of experience）. （1） Key technical skills and knowledge. Bachelor Degree, Environmental Engineering/Water supply and drainage engineering preferred. Minimum 1 years work experience, prefer experience with water/wastewater treatment plant process design Experience in bidding/proposal preparation and the ability to read and understand bid/proposal specification, both from a technical perspective and commercial perspective, as related to contractual terms and conditions Skillful with Auto CAD and have basic engineering concept Excellent knowledge of the MS office package （Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint） Good English language skills （written and oral）. Strong analytical skills and technical aptitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate while working with multiple teams in remote non-face-to-face situations Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships Team player； able to share thoughts openly, accept new ideas and get the job done in a highly interactive process. Be willing to work independently （after proper training） and be a self-starter Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills Be willing to work long hours when needed Ability to travel 20% - 30% of working time （2） Performance Measures/ KPIs Bid success rate Feedback from cross-functional team B） Describe the most important Leadership competencies required of the individual. （5-8 competencies from VBLD, TOP 3 are mandatory competencies） （1） Include the competencies identified for the position that differentiate superior performance.
